Day 1: Coimbatore / Mysore to Ooty

Today's Highlights: Scenic drive through Bandipur/Mudumalai tiger reserves, check-in, and evening at Ooty Lake.

The Journey: Pickup from Coimbatore Airport or Mysore Station. Enjoy a scenic 3.5-hour drive winding up the 36 hairpin bends through pine and eucalyptus forests to Ooty (7,350 ft). Check into your colonial-era heritage hotel. Enjoy an evening pedal-boat ride on Ooty Lake.
